It seems like a unique pick--however, it turns out Anderson will be hosting, among other programs, adaptations of all six of Jane Austen's novels. She'll do a fine job of that. And, heaven knows, we need to see MORE adaptations of Jane Austen novels. In fact, due to the writer's strike, EVERY show and movie for the next year will be a new adaptation of a Jane Austen novel.
More controversy on the horizon: it has been announced that Dora The Explorer will replace Alistair Cookie on "Monsterpiece Theater."
