Christian Bale (THE BATMAN!) has turned himself in to London police in connection with assault charges brought by his sister and mother.

We saw "The Dark Knight" last night and loved it. While Heath Ledger's performance was mesmerizing and terrifying, Bale caught my eye for being...well, WAY handsomer than he was in "Empire of the Sun," which I just saw again recently.
