Iowa Supreme Court takes on the gay marriage issue

Oral arguments are now underway in Varnum v. Brien, the Iowa gay marriage case. The Court has done a great job of making the arguments available to the public both online and on television (I am watching live on Mediacom right now--hooray for a snow day!). Assistant Polk County Attorney Roger Kuhl got just a few paragraphs into his prepared remarks before the questions started. So far, we've heard questions from Justices Appel, Cady, Wiggins, Baker, Ternus, and Streit.
