Richardson Withdraws

More "Pay-To-Play" allegations as New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson withdraws as President-elect Obama's nominee to be Secretary of Commerce. There's a federal grand jury investigation back home.

The grand jury has been investigating “pay-to-play” allegations concerning a New Mexico state contract awarded to a California firm that has contributed to three political committees formed by Richardson, The Associated Press reported last month.

A source close to Richardson told Politico, "There are too many unanswered questions and while he thinks the results of the grand jury will turn out in his favor, he doesn't want to distract attention from the administration."

Lets see - Reid and Pelosi were going to get rid of the corruption in DC-
They stood by Jefferson in La and finally the voting public took care of him.
They ran two candidates for President - Dodd and Richardson that could end up in jail- they have Rangel making his own personal tax laws- Barney sleeping with Fannie Mae or was it Freddie Mac? while controlling money going to them and defending their ridiculous policies on loaning money on bad risks in order to get bigger bonuses.
Now we elect a product of Chicago politics and are surprized when a coheart thug like Rod tries to sell a Senate seat?
The GOP has its problems but the hypocrisy from the left and the ignoring of it by the press really takes gall
