Tara's first concert as an impressionable teen was a live performance by incendiary rock band "Men At Work" (opening act: "Mental As Anything") but if my wife is hoping for a reunion trek by the former pop kings from Australia, she'll just need to wait. Reason: er...one member of the group is accused of threatening to kill the lead singer. I don't think even Van Halen reached THAT level of acrimony.
Founding member Ron Stryker claims that the group's record label gave $400,000 to lead singer Colin Hay for a solo album by Hay. It tanked. And Stryker believes that the label demanded repayment through royalties that were owed to the rest of the group.
