Today's Sports In A Nutshell

I'm a sports fan, but I've noticed that once I've watched one hour or listened to one hour of sports talk, I'm pretty much caught up on the buzz for the rest of the day.

Today's headlines:

Saints beat up on Patriots.

Tiger Woods knocks over a fire hydrant...accusations of adultery follow. Huh?

Bobby Bowden is retiring...whether he likes it or not. Charlie Weis is also gone.

Hello New "Scrubs", Goodbye "Monk"

Daughter Kayla and I watched multiple episodes of "Scrubs" on Monday night to prepare for the season premiere of the new season tonight. But "The Watcher" explains that this isn't your father's "Scrubs"--and the new cast just isn't as funny.

I'm more excited about the conclusion of the wonderfully quirky detective series "Monk" and the answer to the question: "who killed Trudy?"

We Now Return You To Your Regularly Scheduled Blog

Sure, you've noticed that my contributions to this blog have become greatly sporadic. A simple explanation: Tara and I have been moving AND I received some greatly increased responsibilities in my job.

However, returning to regular posting on this blog has not been far from my mind, and I've picked the first of December to recommit to regular posting. Because of my increased daily responsibilities, my posts may not be as long and detailed as before--but my goal is the same: if you were sitting across the dinner table from me, this is what I'd talk about, and HOW I'd talk about it.

I talk a lot of religion, politics, and pop culture but I will also expand my topics to anything on my mind and even include some personal stuff (hold me accountable: I'd like to post some more pictures).

Thanks, patient reader!
